PanelTX is not tied to a single manufacturer, which means we spec the panel that fits the job instead of the panel we happen to stock. We install and service insulated metal panel systems from Kingspan, Metl-Span, KPS Global, FALK Panel, and Globe Panels.
Two of those five build in North Texas. KPS Global manufactures its walk-in cooler and freezer panels in Fort Worth, and Metl-Span runs a plant in Lewisville. For a Metroplex project that means shorter freight, shorter lead times, and a factory we can drive to when something needs sorting out in person.
Choosing between them usually comes down to three questions. What temperature does the space have to hold, and for how many hours a day? What does the fire and building code require for this occupancy? And how does the panel have to look when it is finished — a hidden cold room and an exposed architectural facade are not the same decision.
Panel thickness runs two to six inches, R-14 through R-48, in widths from 24 to 42 inches and lengths out to 53 feet. Longer panels mean fewer joints, fewer thermal breaks, and less secondary framing behind them. Send us the footprint and the temperature and we will tell you which line makes sense and why.
The same panel technology specified for walk-in cooler and freezer envelopes.
