Panel install in progress

Racked cold storage

Glycol under the slab
A refrigerated building almost never fails because somebody specified the wrong panel. It fails where the panel meets something else: a door frame, a ceiling hanger, a penetration, the slab. Every one of those joints is a place where warm air gets in, condensation forms inside the wall, and the insulation value you paid for quietly stops working.
That is the argument for one company owning the whole envelope. When the panels, the doors, the coving and the refrigeration are four separate subcontractors, the joints between them are the gaps nobody prices and nobody warrants. We carry all four, so the detail at the junction is our problem before it becomes yours.
Timing matters as much as scope. A freezer sitting on grade needs an underfloor glycol grid installed before the slab is poured — miss that window and the fix is to break concrete later, at a cost no one budgeted. Long-span freezer ceilings, thermal-break detailing at the perimeter and walkable ceiling design all have to be settled during preconstruction, not in the field.
We are independent of any single panel manufacturer and install five lines, two of which are made inside the Metroplex. On a large package that changes freight cost and lead time rather than just the spec sheet, and it means the panel gets chosen for the building instead of for whatever one supplier happens to sell.
