Most cold storage quotes get revised because the first one was priced off incomplete information. If you send these five things up front, the number we give you is the number.
Interior dimensions and ceiling height. Finished interior, not the outside of the space. Ceiling height drives panel lengths and often decides whether a room needs intermediate support.
Temperature and what is stored. A 35F cooler and a -10F freezer are different builds. Product matters too, because hanging meat, palletized cases, and boxed produce load a room differently.
Door traffic. How often does the door open on a busy day? This drives door hardware, anti-sweat requirements, and refrigeration sizing more than most people expect, and it is the detail most often left out.
The route in. Photos of the doorway, corridor, and any elevator or stairs between the street and the room. Panels are assembled in place, so the route decides what is possible.
The floor. Existing slab, on grade or above, and whether there is a drain. Freezers on grade need under-slab protection, which is the most common thing missing from a cheap competing bid.
The spec sheets and catalogs below cover the technical detail. If you would rather just talk it through, call and we will walk the site.
Thickness, R-value, gauge, fire rating, and the five panel lines we install.
